My Christmas Wonderland

I am excited to decorate for Christmas this year.
I usually work 14 hour days this time of year and haven't decorated in quite awhile.  Why, I'm never home and Henry really doesn't care?
Last year I had shoulder surgery so I only put up a few things.
This year I got some new pretties and decorated a bit different.
I put up a little table top tree with some of my favorite ornaments.

This little guy is my favorite. When I was a child my mom got all of us (4)  kids a little elf to put on the family tree. Mine was green, my older brothers was red, my sisters was blue, and my younger brother had a small green one. I can't believe I still remember who's was who's after all these years.
This one I bought to put on my own tree.
He's such a happy guy, he makes me smile.

I got the little lamp post at Goodwill a long time ago and painted the whole thing black. I like the flickering light in the corner of the fireplace.

My folks moved and don't have room to keep this big guy. I HAD to have him.

Isn't he a beauty? He's 4 feet tall. I am Lovin him!
He is a great addition to the gang.
I have been collecting Nutcrackers for years. They have come from Europe, Goodwill, discount store in town, gifts.......

Just some things on my table
My mom gave me these little whimsical felt trees when she moved too.  She said "I think these are more you then me" I totally agree. Fun don't you think?

I love this little snow man, he's another one that makes me smile.  My mom got me this little guy too.
Thanks Mom for always making Christmas such a wonderland
I got it all decorated today just in time for Knit Night at my house. I was way to tired to knit but it was so worth having it done and friend over to enjoy it with me.
Cheers Friends
Merry Christmas!

This is what I've been up to you.....

Fall has come and gone and now it is winter. I am getting ready for the holidays, I think tomorrow I will decorate the house for Christmas.
I went for my last camp trip of the year and it was Brrrrr cold!!
This is where Henry wanted to be the whole weekend.

I made this little tote thingy for Susan's Birthday. It is a great scrapbook companion. Lots of fun pockets for your supplies.
Susan's
Mine is the cherry one of course.

We did go for a walk in the bitter cold. It was great to get the blood moving. We all played games and watched some movies.
I did do some knitting, I started a dog sweater for Belle (Susan's dog). She was freezing. I finished it after the camp trip, it's a good thing cause if froze when we got home. Actually it tried to snow on my way home.
My frozen hose. 18 degrees YIKES!
Now that it is cold and frozen it's time to park Marge for the winter. I will be looking forward to our next trip. It will have to wait until next year.
Thanks Marge for all the fun trips this year!

Now get busy with Christmas decorations and some shopping.
