Fun cooking while your camping.

Omelettes for the whole family all at the same time. HUH?    My sister passed the idea to me after someone passed it to her, so pass it on.......
We took Ziplock freezer bags. Important that they are freezer bags. (So they wont melt)

Start with boiling a large pot of water.  Then cut up any veggies that you may like.
We cut up mushrooms, scallions, left over BBQ asparagus from the night before.
Later  after it was cooked, we put tomatoes and avocado also from the night before on top.
Write your name on the bag before you fill it. Once the omelette is done you wont know who's is who's.
Next; crack 2 eggs in the bag and squish it all up. Then add your veggies and squish that all up.

Press as much air out of the baggie before you seal it.
Place them into the boiling water. The tops of the bag will flop over but make sure they are not on the outside edge of the pot. Sorry no picture of that step. Boil for 13 minutes, lift out and check to see if they are all firmed up. Sometimes if you have lots of Veggies in your omelette then it will have more liquid. Cook longer if necessary. When your omelette is firm, carefully open the bag and the omelette will roll out. (in a burrito form).
Top it off with Tomato, avocado, feta/blue or cheddar cheese.....

This was all made in my little motorhome "Marge"
I used the hot water to do  the very little dishes that we had. A couple of forks and knife and juice glasses.
We sat outside in our sunny campground and enjoyed an omelette all at the same time and it was hot too.

This is my oldest brother Scott and my one and only sister Carie.
Happy Campers.
